Final Story Idea
For my final story, I want to write about how football season impacts the city of Oxford and how businesses and restaurants will be effected when the season ends. Since so many people visit Oxford during football season, I want to find out how businesses, restaurants, and hotels survive during the off season. I plan to talk to the manager of one of our local hotels, the owner of a store such as Cat Daddy's or Rebel Rags that sells Oxford/Ole Miss apparel, and the owner of the new restaurant Jensei to see how their businesses are impacted.

Hope your story will include comments from Oxford/Lafayette County residents – non-students – the clientele that will patronize these businesses during the off-season. How will you incorporate stats and data in your story? Chamber of Commerce and Census would be good sources.
